May 9 and 10 - CPC Overnight Retreat At The Beach - You are invited to take this time away at a beautiful beach-front house to contemplate in what way you will participate in CPC's new Covenant. We will have opportunity to talk about the implications of taking up features of the Covenant and plenty of quiet time to spend with God and our significant others to discern what kind of commitment we are each being called to. The cost per person will be approximately $60, depending on the number of attendees, and includes dinner, breakfast and lunch meals. Our hostess, Lonnie Miller, is a wonderful cook! If you would like to go on the beach retreat please let Susan know ASAP.
May 11 - Pentecost wear RED.
May 18th - Christ Presbyterian Church's Anniversary Celebration. This is our annual (indoor) Labyrinth Worship Service when we celebrate our walk with God as a unique community in Christ. Please wear comfortable shoes. Our Anniversary Worship will be followed by a Pot Luck brunch. Please bring a main dish to share. Beverages and desert will be provided.
