May 5th from 1-4pm, GreenFaith - an interfaith environmental coalition - and AP Solar will join us to offer homeowners the chance to be screened for a zero-cost solar installation that would provide them with discounted electricity. There will be a monitor set up in the sanctuary and interested homeowners can have their home screened via satellite photos to see if their roof appears suitable for solar. For every home that goes solar through this Solar Screening Event or related on-line registration, GreenFaith and AP Solar will make a $200 contribution to Christ Presbyterian Church. This offer is open to all New Jersey homeowners - so invite your friends and neighbors to join us at Christ Presbyterian Church. Puppet Shows for Children of All Ages will be presented continuously during this event by Diana Patton & Joan.

May 6^th 12 Step Bible Study - Step 8 - It is interesting to see that much of the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous is taken from the bigger book - the Bible. For example, did you know that One day at a time is found in the book of Matthew? In the 12 step Bible study we will read and discuss a variety of scripture pertaining to the 12 steps. Studying the Bible will help us go deeper into our hearts and strengthen our relationship with God and grow in faith by knowing Him from Scripture. Join us on the first Sunday of each month at 12:30 at the church for this study even if you have missed the first steps. Click here for a flyer.
